The award-winning architect Giampiero Peia is responsible for the design of the Peia Residence. As a passionate sailor, he wanted to incorporate this attitude to life into the architecture. With offices in Milan and Doha, Peia Associati designs impressive buildings all over the world.
Arrive and stay
The location was impressive. Peter Paul Pohl remembers a crossing from Verbania to Laveno during a family holiday on Lake Maggiore in 2003. With a vision in mind, Peter was able to get the right minds together to start working on an ambitious, holistic concept. The vision was, and still is, to create a space that is diverse in use, as well as reflects the character of the territory. The right mix of tradition and modern, high-quality. The abandoned ceramics factory that once was the heart of this territory needed to be revived in all its angles and with all its potential. The project: Laveno Premium Real Estate is now an architectural highlight of the region, as well as the home of a new community that values the beauty of Lago Maggiore every day.
